+1. And a man who negotiated an nfl contract! Neither he nor his attorney or agent ever asked questions about the conservatorship when he was an adult? Makes no sense. |

We don’t know who wrote that. AND it’s clearly not the “exact same thing”. They lied to him. For many years. |
It's in HIS book. But keep doubling down. |
POS fake Christian grifters |
See that’s another lie tge famiky likes to tell. Michael was already a star football and basketball player before he ever met them. |
But he was bouncing around foster homes. Do you deny they took him in and provided any help? Why was nobody else stepping up? |
I take it you’re unfamiliar with celebrity book writing? AND it’s clearly not the “exact same thing”. |
A grown man who’s $35 million richer thanks to them. Whatever their motives, he benefited too. |
So it’s okay to steal from foster kids as long as they’re really vulnerable and don’t have anyone else? THAT is your argument? If you give a poor foster kid food and a place to sleep for a year that entitles you to control their life and their money for over a decade? |
The Tuohys should pay Oher whatever he is owed. There is no evidence at this point that the used the conservatorship or withheld movie royalties from him. |
Are you suggesting that Oher lied when he listed himself as an author? |
Why don’t you ever respond to the posts pointing out that they didn’t touch any of his earnings? You want them to be worse than they are. You have issues. |
So that’s a no. You are NOT familiar with the process. https://www.grammarly.com/blog/ghostwriter/#:~:text=A%20ghostwriter%20is%20hired%20to,t%20be%20credited%20at%20all. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2022/oct/30/confessions-of-a-ghost-writer-alexandra-heminsley |
Yes. I’m not saying they were playing the long game and banking on him making it to NFL. But you have to understand the culture of football in the south. The whole town comes to the games. The players are hyperlocal celebrities. And that spotlight shines on the parents too, makes them more popular in town. I don’t know if the family had foster kids before this one. But I would not be surprised if they signed up specifically because they wanted to hitch their cart to his football stardom. |
