Can someone please disable the repeat button for this guy.

This formula is more in line, Average lax player + rich parents not needing a scholarship + never seeing the field seems to be the magic formula.

Of the 14 Capital players at Ivy programs last year: Over half (8) played every game, one played in 50% of the games, five played in fewer than 50% of the games, and four made All Ivy.

Thanks for getting up at 5am and sharing.

It's the same troll parent that is on rinse and repeat with the obscure stats. Let them be, that's all they have in life these days.

So the poster citing stats dismantling the OP without editorial comment is the troll, not the one who attacked Capital parents and players with: “ Average lax player + rich parents not needing a scholarship + never seeing the field seems to be the magic formula.” Got it.

If you are paying attention to the 26s, I think we all know which club is winning the recruiting war and it is not because of rich parents.

Which club would that be? You do understand that none of the Ivy league teams give money right? There's no debating the advantages of an Ivy school but from a lacrosse perspective, they aren't relevant.

Penn is #4, Yale is # 5 and Princeton is #16. I wouldn't say they are irrelevant. Is one going to win a natty anytime soon? Probably not.

Agreed, the Ivy had their best year in a long time, and that doesn't include Harvard and Brown.

No idea where you get the 4 and 5, though. They were quarterfinalists and didn't finish ranked there. Brown might continue their trajectory next year.

If you have no idea where to find “NCAA women’s lacrosse rankings” there may be no hope for you.

RPI is used as a tool for NCAA tournament evaluation. Nobody looks at RPI and says "We were ranked 3rd". The IWCLA does "rankings" throughout most of the season, and then after the tournament. Probably one or 2 media outlets as well, but that's a couple people that write about lax for schillings.

They finished 6 and 7 in the coaches' rankings. Snide fits you.

If my daughter got into Maryland but also Yale or Stanford, we’d opt for Yale or Stanford every day of the week. Would not be a close decision. Capital is cleaning up on racking up spots at schools that are extraordinarily difficult to get into.

Great! There are also players and families that would opt for Northwestern, UVA, Michigan, Duke, Notre Dame and others over Yale and the Ivy league. Goes both ways.

True - Top Guns has the best mix of top ten selections, ivies, and other high academics. What surprises me is the lackluster Hero’s 26 class.

Oh, so you did know exactly where the PP got the rankings. My bad.

No. Because it's not a ranking that anyone uses other than what I said. I googled after your snide post and found a link, only one of which had RPI as one of 2 links (as long as we're doing this -- the actual rankings that normies refer to being the other).

Please tell your husband people will likely pay him big money to tell folks how he does it day after day. He should know that his secret formula is gold for some.

Think we’re splitting ranking hairs here.

You are new to lacrosse and maybe college sports, that's okay. Can you tell us all why this matters to you? You said you were not the OP, I'm sensing that there is a reason you'd like to validate something here.

By the way Harvard only lost to Princeton by 1 goal in OT. Betting several of the Ivies break the top 20 or higher in 2025. Really strong 2024 recruiting class at several of the schools in the top 30 so could really shift the top 10-20 teams.

Nice to know that the Capital/Hero’s bickering still goes on in HS. Just look at the 2026 recruiting thread for proof.
