How Short/Tall?

Assuming all else is the same--handsome, nice, good job, good family, good hygiene, etc., would you date or marry a short man? How short? Are there any out there who wouldn't date men who are too tall?

I'm 5'10" and dated men as short as 5'7" or 5"8, I wouldn't have gone shorter than that. The tallest guy I dated was 6'5", I had no problems at all with that height. Ended up with someone 6'2".

I am 5'7 and the shortest man I dated was 5'4.
I do not like very, very tall men as I have some kind of superiority complex (being honest) and like to feel like an equal, so I need to see pretty much eye to eye, not be on my tippy toes like a small kid.

I'm 5'1 and truthfully wouldn't marry someone under 5'8. I was hoping my children would be taller than me. DH is 6'2 and that's a little taller than I would have liked.

I'm 5 foot 2.
When I was younger (high school, early college years) I preferred shorter men---like 5'7" and under.

Now, I prefer taller men (6 feet plus.) I'm not sure what changed my mind.
The tallest man I ever dated was 6'7"
My Dh is just a tad under 6 feet.

Short guy here. I get it, because I would never date a fat woman. Nothing wrong with folks being allowed to have physical preferences

Who will be pissed off and who is a hypocrite? Did the OP not ask about height? It's well known most men don't like fat women, I don't think that comes as any surprise.

Short guy here - agreed I don't even need to go to the fat card though - even I prefer tall women over short ones ceteris paribus. A 5'7+ woman is more attractive than a 5'5 or below woman

So in the spirit of equality i've always been ok with women preferring taller guys.

The shortest guy I ever dated (probably 5'5'') was endowed to an insane degree. Like my forearm. So I don't judge a guy on height. I think guys at any height have pluses and minuses.

Haha! I'm a PP in this thread (preferred short guys when I was younger but now prefer tall guys) and same here! He was as big around as a coke can! Your guy didn't happen to have the initials HR?

It's really not about height. I've dated short men (if they were manly and not effeminate).

Ex-DH was about 6'1', current DH is about 5'8". I'm 5'3" and actually like the current setup, although for a while I thought I only wanted 6' or taller. I got over that.
