Did you go to the hearing? I didn't see this reported anywhere and don't see it updated on the Fairfax County Court site yet.

This is true, on the 15th they will finalize the date likely in January. The defense asked for a continuance to sift through more evidence, and the judge granted it as is going to set the dates on the fifteenth of this month for January of next year likely.

was a reason given? Hopefully this pisses off JM and makes it less likely she changes her story.

BB and his mother are pathetic. Spare the families. This continuance is nonsense, you sickos.

you know who is really upset about this? Juliana. She stays in jail until she provides testimony for the trial.

Of course, she deserves to be there much longer than the trial date. So, in some ways, it is a win.

Why delaying the inevitable? It’s so clear he’s going to get convicted. Why dragging this longer?

His arrogance. He thought he set up the perfect double murder but turns out he’s just a loser who not only killed two people, but also ruined the life of his child. His mother is going to bleed herself dry over this and I think it’s hilarious.

The reason for the continuance is because the Commonwealth is either disorganized or intentionally not disclosing information but they just did a document dump on the defense right before trial. It’s their fault it was continued. I too think the guy is guilty but at least for now in our country, we still have a little due process left. Due process is bigger than everyone on DCUM wanting to string this guy up now. It’s at the core of our judicial system and the government needs to adhere to due process and they screwed this one up. The chief judge was concerned and she’s very pro-commonwealth so this is not the travesty of justice that you think it is. It’s actually upholding due process which you should all be grateful for.
