We're a year or two away from the looming consumer credit default crisis.

If Trump's elected and he predictably runs the economy into the ground again, this is very possible.

Why do you think we will be forced to shut down again?

Dp.

Because everything Trump touches, dies.

Not sure about that, but for sure everything Biden touches either becomes much more expensive or goes burst in a total war. The guy is a genius.

What war is the US in?
And yo are blaming a president for the cost of things? Ok, how much is gas? I just paid $2.90.

Thanks Joe!

Some folks are hilarious I guess.

The US has already spent over a hundred billion dollars supporting two wars. Even you can name them -- just do it!

In terms of inflation, gas has indeed come down -- what about everything else? Last time I checked the dollar has lost 20% purchasing power in just two years, a true record!!

Wages as compared to inflation are up, so purchasing power is up.

If you are complaining about the prices of everything else, then ask why are companies making record profits...because those profits are your "inflation"

The democrats tried to pass an anti-price-gouging bill. Here was the GOP response:

If your salary has increased more than 20% in two years, congrats!

That has NOT been the case for most people.

Insulin is not more expensive, in fact...

Thanks Joe!

This is life-changing for my nephew, who’s a 23-year-old type 1 diabetic in his first job. The amount of money this will save him over his lifetime is staggering.

Wages have gone down under Biden

Though inflation-adjusted wage growth resumed earlier this year, real wages are still down overall since Joe Biden took office. It’s not crazy to suppose that this could be affecting people’s attitudes toward the economy.

Seeks things are stabilizing at the “new normal “ which is high food and gas prices. High utility costs and low wages.

Most people are still suffering from what I know.

Food prices are up because companies are price-gouging.

That isn't something a president can control unless the Congress passes anti-price-gouging measures, something the GOP has been steadfast against because Capitalism.

So...if you are going to complain about the price of things that are unrelated to inflation, then complain about Capitalism.

Gas prices are not high. It's about $3/gallon now which is pretty average historically. When Reagan was re-elected, prices were at about $3.17/gallon in adjusted dollars.

Wages have increased by 19% in the US since 2006. But when you factor in inflation, "real wages" have declined by 8.8%, per Payscale.

How many years since 2006 did Dems warm the seat behind the resolute desk?

How is it Biden's fault you got laid off? Were you working at the White House? Given how hot the economy is right now, you should have no issue finding a different job.
