Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

All of you drooling with love for Putin should step away from the keyboard, and go “fight for Russia” in Ukraine, if you are real men at all.

Here is a Russian recruitment propaganda for you. It speaks for itself:

Ha, most of them aren't even getting paid, let alone a piece of land. Probably should have just said, "I'm here until I get maimed or killed (at which point my body will be used as a booby trap)."

DP. There used to be a certain rhythm with Russian propaganda, but things are starting to get weird in Moscow (more than "normal" weird..).

"A Russian propagandist who called for the ethnic cleansing of Ukrainians in the wake of Moscow’s full-scale invasion discovered a severed pig’s head outside his front door this week—making him the third Kremlin mouthpiece to receive such a “gift” in recent days."
“I was on vacation. They planted a pig’s head right under the door of the apartment. Then they called me and said this was because I was behaving wrong in the media landscape. They started to demand that I refuse to support the actions of the president of Russia, and drop support for the special military operation and our Armed Forces,”
“There were threats up to and including murder. The following was said verbatim: ‘We have long arms, and we can kill you at any moment, and we’ll get away with it,’”
"According to Telegram channel 112, Mikhail Tereshchenko, a military photographer for the TASS news agency, was the first to receive a pig’s head. Bizarrely, a courier is said to have brought Tereshchenko a package containing a pig’s head on Sept. 19—and the outlet claimed a search of the courier revealed he or she was carrying four more bags with the same gruesome contents."
https://www.thedailybeast.com/someone-keeps-sending-russian-propagandists-severed-pig-heads

What's telling is that it's most likely a native Russian who sent the pig's head. The person said "special military operation". A Ukrainian would've said "Ukrainian War" since that's a banned term in Russia.

"Russian soldier wishing death upon (Russian) factory workers that produce artillery shells"
https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/16tggbt/russian_soldier_wishing_death_upon_factory/?rdt=48363

Over these past two years, the Kremlin has protected it's elite but sacrificed all others on the front lines. The relatives of police, FSB, or lower-level officials are also likely too numerous to be shielded from front-line duty. The more soldiers that are killed on the Ukrainian front lines, the more likely that bereaved friends, lovers, and relatives will be distraught. The fact that there is no fear of retribution means whomever did this is willing to die or be imprisoned. This will be an increasing internal security issue within Russia as the war progresses.

I thought about the nuclear equation mentioned in the other post. There are possible scenarios and I believe that if it happens, Russia is setting Belarus up as the unwitting patsy / pawn to take the fall. Remember that Belarus did not provide Russia with troops or assist by invading Ukraine (a sign of disloyalty to Putin).
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/belarus-top-diplomat-says-he-cant-imagine-his-country-entering-the-war-in-ukraine-alongside-russia

My concern is that Russian troops withdrew from Belarus on the 9th; at the same time transferred nuclear weapons in. This could be viewed as a preparatory move to use tactical nuclear weapons.

https://www.gisreportsonline.com/r/russia-belarus-nuclear/

The question is - what would happen then?

Ukraine could surrender outright and the rest of the world kisses their tush. This is the outcome Russia would bank on. However, my gut tells me Russia militarily can't handle more than what they're already doing now. There's also the imminent internal backlash once the babushkas realize their precious malish aren't coming home, as well as the 'what do we do now' as they stand around realizing they just nuked a country and their economy collapses (e.g. the 'ghosting the cooties' effect)
Ukraine doesn't have nuclear weapons. However, Ukraine could be provided nuclear weapons. Unlikely, but possible. Certain NATO allies could break from the alliance and attack. Unlikely, but possible. Certain CSTO allies could revolt. Unlikely, but possible. Go biblical with a first strike? Russia still considers this an option from old Soviet doctrine (maskirovka - old Soviet doctrine said they would never strike first, but because they lie in order to achieve surprise, I'm sure they would strike first, just like they did in Ukraine), but I hope someone in the Kremlin pointed out that 10% of all ethnic Russians on the planet are located in just two cities (St. Petersburg, Moscow) and a good chunk more are heavily clustered around Russian bases (aka nuclear targets). None of these scenarios are particularly appetizing for Russia.

Russia has already lost, but we need to stop them before they invade Poland and the Baltics. We also have to keep sending them hundreds of billions of dollars and military equipment in perpetuity because Russia is weak.

Its really pretty simple.

Poland and the Baltics are in NATO. An attack on one is an attack on all.
Even so Poland could easily stop Russia by itself in a couple of days while restoring its lands in Belarus and taking Kaliningrad.

Poland could kick Russias ass without nato right now.

Russia is not going to touch Poland; or any nato country. I think NATO would love an excuse to retaliate against Russia and wipe out all Russian equipment in Ukraine in about 4 hours. Probably kill a lot of Russian soldiers in the process.

Everyone has Ukraine fatigue it seems: https://edition.cnn.com/2023/09/26/opinions/challenges-for-ukraine-russia-war-andelman/index.html

Support for Ukraine is highest among people that don't bear any burden. As soon as they do, the enthusiasm goes away.

McConnell says out loud what others only whisper: it's not about helping Ukraine, it's about degrading Russia. He'd be okay with total destruction and death in Ukraine as long as it helps degrade Russia. He's entitled to his views but it's important for Ukraine to be clear-eyed about what their value is to the West, and that it's not at all about their commitment to democracy or any such myths.
