What is there about him that makes you think he is capable of being involved based on what we know so far? Gee, I wonder what could it be…I can't fathom your suspicion…

If I'm wrong, so be it. But everything this guy has done so far sounds completely innocent.
uhhhhh he was neighbors with Wint for a long time. They knew each other.
He lied to the police multiple times.
Multiple news sources are reporting (for example Leshan's Twitter and dailymail, amongst others) police are scrutinizing him extremely closely at this point.
Do you know something more than the police? Or perhaps it is more likely the police know more than you.
He complained about money- havea vs have nots- a lot, publicly and as gleaned from those hat knew him. He was bitter about money.
He was fired.
That 10 yr old kid had life on a silver platter
He may have been involved as far as stealing the money and splitting it, not knowing Wint would murder too. Or torture.
The list goes on. But for you or anyone but the police to assert this guy's innocence at this point seems wrong.

*sigh*
1. They were never neighbors. They lived at addresses near each other but never contemporaneously.

2. It has not been established that they knew each other. (Hey! I thought all black people knew each other!)

3. He lied about trivial things that were not to his advantage in any way.

4. Lots of people need money--but they don't get involved in things this gruesome.

I did not say he was innocent. I said based on what we know so far in actual facts and not made up things, he sounds innocent. Other facts may come out to prove me wrong but until then you will just keep saying he's "not the sort person you would hire", etc. And then act surprised when someone calls you on your bullshit.

Oh the racist card! Wallace isn't even black.

Police target chauffeur in D.C. quadruple mansion murder, search warrant indicates

WASHINGTON (WJLA) – The unsealing of another search warrant in the quadruple homicide at a D.C. mansion indicates detectives are targeting one of homeowner Savvas Savopoulos' assistants and chauffeur, Jordan Wallace.
Police wanted to search 28-year-old Wallace's BMW. They found it just a block from the burning home where Savopoulos, his wife Amy, son Philip, and housekeeper Vera Figueroa were murdered.

Have you read the warrants and affidavits. He gave conflicting statements about whether his recently murdered employer contacted him on the evening of 5/13 or 5/14. If you are not familiar with forensic interviewing techniques and law enforcement investigators, it's basically cat nip. (Sorry to be so glib.)

Plainly, the conflicting statements and actual lies are material. Both objectively and, most importantly, to the police. So much so the police included it in the charging documents against Wint and in all the affidavits supporting the other warrants, etc. So material, the police impounded his car and took possession of his cell phone... immediately. Also, per the affidavit, he admitted he lied... Not misremembered, but actually lied. There's a difference. I have no idea if Wint and JW know each other. At this point, it doesn't really matter given all the other issues surrounding JW. Also, I have know idea of JW is involved. But, objectively speaking, there's something amiss with JW to put it very mildly. This isn't intuition, this is an evidence-based conclusion.

I was a little surprised with how many defensive people have been on behalf of JW since the Wint charging documents. Given what we know now, I"m dumbstruck.

You mean like a lot of people were defensive on behalf of the surviving housekeeper, when people were sure that it would turn out to be MS-13 activity, or the way people were defensive of SS himself, when people were sure that it would turn out that he had shady business dealings?

Wallace has been thoroughly investigated. This is all old news. He delivered the money as directed by his boss. He did not figure out that bad shit was going down at the boss' home. He was defensive about that and lied to police about some of the details. Then they investigated him extensively, exposed his lies, but that is the end of the trail. He has no connection to Wint.

If Wallace was involved would he really have texted his girlfriend a photo of the money, basically communicating "wow look at what a high roller this guy is!"?

I wouldn't think so. I'll be really shocked if he was involved. The "lying" is most easily explained by being nervous and shocked when all of this first came out.

Yes! + 1,000,000!!

Adding to this EVIDENCE, is the fact that you can see the apartments on google maps even- they were not 2 random apts within a sea of thousands, they were directly adjacent to each other.
What a damn coincidence!!

Not after three weeks. This all happened the day of and the day after the fire. He gave them his phone and showed them his car while they were talking to him.

I do not understand how people can look at the jw info (I've read all of it) and be suspicious. If I am wrong on this, I'll never trust my crictial skills again. The guy is exactly what he is (I find him thoroughly trivial and dismissable - but I also find bags of money and fast, cool cars boring).

I love fast cool cars and bags of money, but I agree with you on everything else.

They did not live there at the same time. Wallace hasn't lived in that area since at least 2009. There is no evidence of any connection between Wallace and Wint.

why is "lying" in quotations? He didn't "lie."
He LIED. Deliberately said one thing then said another, with full knowledge of being untruthful. Big difference! The cops made this sooo clear right from the get go.
They took his stuff immediately but are only unsealing this info now.
And what's with the "they FoUND his car a block away"? Whaaa? Why didn't he have his car? Weird.
Bruce Leshan is also finding it bizarre he drove straight to the Savapolous house from Va once he heard of the fire (why? That IS weird). And he texted both Amy and Savvas to rush home, their house was on fire. Fishy!

Hypothetically, yes, because he may want to create other witnesses who will later be able to confirm his story that he was asked by his boss to drop off $40k, and that he did so as asked (given his boss won't be around to be providing such testimony.
