Agreed. I also would add PWC.

I don't get the extreme vitriol for certain neighborhoods and communities in this area.

I also don't get what is so damn bad about big box retail and chain restaurants. Our location gives us access to a huge number of these and we feel lucky that we can take our pick of grocery stores/restaurants/stores. It's better than being stuck in a town where WalMart is your only option.

I agree with the Ferguson decision, and I'm black

Yes!! And specifically dogs, for me. I loathe them and we will never have one. I'm so glad my husband agrees with me.

I think the reverse.

Wouldn't they get a job if that was the case?

Not if they're not capable of a successful career. I don't believe that SAHMs just want a job, but I think they're jealous of my value and success in the working world.

idk, I quit my job, became a SAHM and used my extra time to write a book which made the NYT best sellers list. Would not have done that if not for being a SAHM. Guess it depends on your meaning of success.

Do obese women really tend to have larger babies? My OB didn't mention this. I'm newly pregnant and obese and already anxious about labor. Throw in a big baby and I'll have a panic attack thinking about it!

Unfortunately, yes. I mean, you're not doomed, but statistically...

http://share.kaiserpermanente.org/article/overweight-and-obese-women-more-likely-to-have-large-babies/
my doctor said to am for gaining 10-12 lbs rather than 20-30 if you start out overweight.

yes, there are different weight gain recs depending on where you start. I was on the other end and my ob said 30-40 was perfectly healthy.

But what you gain doesn't directly correlate to the size of the baby your produce.

Thanks for the link. My OB did talk about my own weight gain and keeping it in check for my own health, but didn't say anything about how it'd affect the weight of my baby. Yikes! Definitely sticking with the diet we discussed!

I look down on those who tear down others' choices just to make themselves feel better. Such hateful words to other mothers. WTF is wrong with you people.

SAHM vs. WOHM
BF vs. FF
CIO vs. Co-sleep

Who cares what other families do?!

Just fucking live and let live, bitches.

Football should be banned. Especially for kids under 13.

I think there's a possibility that Bill Cosby is innocent, and this whole thing is a conspiracy.

I don't think soldiers defend our freedom.

AMEN! They have no idea how pathetic the sound for judging the way others parent. So sad some people let this occupy space in their tiny brains

Which is why I refuse to diet. Happy with my size four.

I'd rather be powerless than a size4.

OK, trophy wife.

Are we saying that size 4 is not skinny?

I think life in the big northeastern cities (NYC; DC; Phl; Boston) sucks and is completely overrated -- I say this having spent my entire life in 2 out of those 4 cities. I think they're great places to start a career bc you are exposed to sophisticated work esp in things like finance and biglaw -- but having done that, I covet life down south or in the Midwest now.
