The Lakewood principal is on record saying he was not. Ask any Lakewood parent. Our principal has told us many times, CEO was not at Lakewood. Staff are also saying they never saw the CEO at Lakewood.
Why is the media not asking this question?

Where is Lakewood principal on the record saying this??

Every Lakewood parent was notified via parent square this morning around 11 AM that no incident at Lakewood took place on Monday. The CEO was not there. Not was he ever called by our principal. No staff member at Lakewood saw him either.
I have kids at both Lakewood as Wootton and I am beyond upset. I can’t even begin to explain how angry I am there is NO consistency on where the most important person was.

Share the Parent Square message with any local media station. People need to know if MCPS is lying. Taxpayers need to know how the CEO program is or isn’t working.

The fact is the kid who was shot had the monitoring. So now that people know he was the victim, because he was a "bad kid" with an ankle monitor, it's his fault he got shot. /s

The important thing to learn from this incident is that black and brown kids don't belong at Wootton, never belonged at Wootton, and will never belong at Wootton. Or Wootton @ Crown.

Ha ha ha it's you again! Folks - this is the gaslighter trying to stir up trouble. You have to understand there are at least two people (or accounts) on this thread trying to smear Wootton. This is the problem of an anonymous forum.

Good try though!

Officer Pascali. Also I can confirm, Lakewood parents were and have been told all day by our staff and principal that he was not at Lakewood and no one from Lakewood called for him or saw him.

LOL why is this not a surprise.

He was most likely getting food at Falls Grove

If the Lakewood principal and staff all say he was not, this is a huge accountability issue.

What in the world is going on?

This is why SRO's do not work.

None of these types of people are effective.

This guy was most likely at Falls Grove getting food or somewhere else off campus running errands or doing something else instead of his job.

Do police officers not rate lunch breaks? Bathroom breaks? Time to take a phone call?

The ankle braclet?

Probation occurs after a conviction. An ankle bracelet can be a condition of release before a determination of guilt. So no an ankle bracelet doesn’t always mean the wearer is on probation.

THEN SAY THAT. Tell the truth.
Don’t tell the public he was at an elementary school if he wasn’t. Why is the elementary school principal saying he wasn’t there?

Wootton parents smear themselves. That was just a more direct way of restating what they've been saying for weeks here.

Maybe it was something near, but outside, the school building.

It's a reasonable question to ask, though. I also find it odd that the principal seemed to speak out before asking the same thing from the police. That suggests some sort of strained relationship.

Still, it wouldn't have changed what happened at Wootton. I don't understand what magical powers some posters seem to think SROs and CEOs have. I think we should have SROs, but I'm under no illusion that they would prevent these incidents. I just think given police will occasionally need to respond to various kinds of incidents at schools, it is better to have officers that know the communities serving as the primary responding officer.

Right. In fact, they are more often used while cases are pending, rather than during probation.

The mother of the victim did an interview with NBC4. I'm not a psychic, but based on her interview, it seems highly doubtful that her child was wearing an ankle monitor. She also threw major shade at the admin/counselor.

The media is not a mindreader. Send a tip to them so they can follow up and include the message from the Lakewood principal:
