I think there have to be consequences for nominating obviously unsuitable candidates like Jay Jones.

I don't relish another four years of Miyares, but he hasn't embarassed himself either as a candidate or office holder in the same way that Jones has. Jones is probably the most immature candidate we've ever had running for a major office in Virginia. The only reason he is in this position is that he's the coddled son of two politically connected judges, and the only reason he hasn't already been forced to step aside is that Virginia Democrats don't want to offend Black politicians like Scott, Lucas, and Locke from Hampton Roads.
