Except that the daughter of the guy who bankrolls Revolution goes to school there and they already use the facility for various things. So I’d say there’s zero chance of that being an option for TSJ. |
Isn’t the 2012 coach staying through the spring season? If FCV has fields secured for the spring (which seems to be the consensus here) and that team’s coach isn’t leaving until after spring season, why not wait for normal ID / tryout cycle for 2024-25 season? |
Good insight on that one. Then I really don't know what the leadership at TSJ are referring to when they're mentioning a private institution in Ashburn to form a field agreement with. |
Because it's easier to jump early than to go to mass tryouts |
FCV is releasing player cards so their players can go to VRSC? That seems unlikely. |
If everyone is paid in full, they have to. This is little kid soccer. If they choose to pay double, they can. |
| TSJ isn’t going to release player cards unless families have met their financial obligation to the club (i.e., your club dues are fully paid up). Once that is done, then they have to release your player card if you request it. In the case of the FCV coaches who are trying to convince FCV players to move over to Revolution, they’re telling them that Revolution will waive their club fees for the spring so families aren’t paying twice. Which is, of course, what you’d expect (and demand) from a club that’s trying to get you to move before the season is over. |

Who will the VRSC 2012 coach be if ED is staying at FCV for spring season? |
If there's nothing to coach, then uhh...
|
He has four teams. No way that many leave that soon for VRSC. |
| Ya sure about this. 2012 parent here and we have full roster confirmatons for Jeff Cup and St Patty's tournament. Sounds like someone is talking just to talk. Yeah things may change but as of now there are full rosters for both teams. |
That seems like a great way for revolution to drown in legal fees |
It sounds like you'll be on the outside looking in. |
Full rosters to play for Revolutions or FCV? |
