Unfortunately I agree. She needed to be out there for the last year + making this case. The republicans let Trump control the narrative after Jan. 6 so now they all believe the "stolen election," "everything was great when Trump was president," "Trump was very competent" BS. It took years of propaganda from the whole republican propaganda machine to bake that in. It's not getting reversed in a couple weeks based on the statements of one person.

There was a highly respected Republican woman out there making that exact case - Liz Cheney. And look how far her influence carried.

Haley can't beat Trump. People have hope because Nikki Haley, highly competent and highly qualified, with a successful record as governor of a conservative state, not to mention she's not a doddering old man, should be a solid candidate against a doddering old fool like Trump. In any sane time she would be. But we are not in a sane time and facts don't matter. Trump is the nominee. Haley may be around to pick up the pieces later, but I wouldn't count on it.

100% agree she won't win but her going against Trump gives a permission structure for soft Trump voters who love to remind us that they aren't MAGA (despite voting for MAGA in every election.) This only works if Hayely DOESN'T endorse Trump once she drops out. But who are we kidding, of course she will.

She's a racist her words about Charlottesville and Obama are horrific.
