That's a bit of self-selection, given he is an immigrant. Have you ever lived abroad and observed the locals? We are in Europe for a temporary assignment and I have to say people seem nowhere near ambitious as Americans. Literally no work gets done in the summer.

+1 I lived in Europe for many years and Euros in general do not work as hard as Americans (or South Koreans or the Japanese for that matter). They very much take for granted the innovation and medical breakthroughs the hard work these other countries produce despite disparaging them all the time.

Americans very much take for granted Western civilization and the ideas of democracy and liberty, which, you guessed it, originated in Europe. As for innovation 👀 try the mRNA covid vaccine. Switzerland is the world’s most innovative country, and it’s located in…Japan? No, it’s in Europe!

Please. Switzerland has a large number of drug and medical device companies, but that’s about it. It’s a small country is known for its mountains and peaceful existence.

One mega difference between foreign and American women:

Foreign women don’t have food allergies / funny metabolic issues as common as American women

Since I can’t change my nation of birth, what lessons can I learn from foreign women (any nationality) that make them more appealing?

To address the stereotypes: I’m not fat or even close to it, I’m not bossy, I don’t *think* I act entitled although I can’t really judge that myself, I don’t rant about the “patriarchy,” I don’t have tattoos or blue hair, and I don’t think gender norms are inherently bad.

Focus on majority which wants to marry locally or move to another country to add foreigner to your resume.

This is so funny and such an American thing to say.

Do you think all the origins/nationalities of those people working in those science/tech companies in Switzerland are mostly ancestrally Swiss/Anglo?

Scarves and nudity. American guy here. German women rock both of these concepts of femininity. American women would do well to follow these two points: I’ll explain.

Nudity required for co-ed spas. This leads to self-consciousness over body (for nearly everybody) which leads to working out for the spa - and to feel better about yourself. Instant confidence boost that makes German woman incredible.

Scarves - again brings style to any outfit.

1. I’m not American

2. Humans share something like 96% of genes with chimps. I don’t think this is about ancestry at all, but rather the system societies set up for themselves. Christianity and democracy as systems are European exports (entrenched as such during the Roman and Greek empires). Americans have benefited from these over the centuries.

All that said, immigrants make up around 30% of the Swiss population, and the top three nationalities emigrating to CH are Italians, Germans and Portuguese. So… probably they are, although that was not at all my point.

Social media has been interesting the last 24 hrs

I came across a post that was widely shared and commented on:

“Zuck - Asian wife
JD - Indian wife
Bezoz - Latina
Trump - Slavic foreign “

Even some women were responding asking effectively what’s a “normal white American” woman supposed to do if

It's not their ethnic origin/race, it's that they are pretty and/or hot. Powerful men usually have good-looking female partners. Also, America is becoming more and more open to interracial marriage.

We should all be happy that beauty standards are more diverse now.

Better cooking.

I’m very proud to be married to an independent high earning professional woman who also is a brilliant mother but I’m really getting tired of her not being able to cook.

Have you ever met a French woman? Or an English woman? Or an Italian woman? Or a Greek woman? Or an Irish woman?

Where do you think all of our women get their vibes from? The old country…
