STA doesn't have that kind of depth

Not sure if this is supposed to be STA/Heights slander, but makes absolutely no sense.

I think NextLevel runs a Maryland fall league similar to the VEL league in Virginia. It is fun to get some reps but most of the teams have only half their roster, so the games don't mean much. Perhaps Heights and STA won the NL fall season?

I think that each year STA and the Heights are teams that the parents are very optimistic about and post they will surprise people and be in the top 3-5 local teams. Then the season starts and it does not happen. I think that this season, STA has a better shot at finishing in the top 3 in IAC than Heights to finish top 3 in the WCAC.

Yeah I’m sure you’ll find loads of Heights parents boasting on a public Forum page. NOT

Teams can upset teams and will this spring…it’s ok

STA's starters can run with any team in the area (including Bullis and SJC).

The Bulldogs lack depth and historically all it takes is 1 - 2 injuries in a season to rerail the positive momentum.

My sleeper pick in the WCAC will be the Heights. I do think this is finally the year, ”

This is on page 34 of this thread.

The season is near. Anymore projections for WCAC/IAC?

Gonzaga over SJC in the WCAC.

Bullis over Prep in the IAC
Anonymous
I head Yorktown beat SJC by 10 in the St. James league today.

SJC must have been missing a key player.

There should be tons of parity across the DC area this year. You won't see a team that comes close to the 2022 SJC Cadets.

Tier 1:
Bullis
Prep
SJC
Gonzaga

Tier 2:
Landon
STA
PVI
Saint Stephens

Tier 3:
The Heights
Episcopal
DeMatha
Saint Andrews

Tier 4:
Potomac School
Good Counsel
Saint Marys Ryken (Southern MD)
Bishop Ireton
O'Connell

A general observation is the IAC is going to be very good this year and the WCAC might be slightly down relative to last year.

While I only ranked teams from the WCAC and IAC, if I could rank a public school team, it would be Madison. They looked excellent in a few of the Fall events I saw them play in and could compete with some of the programs in Tier 2.

Riverside also beat Gonzaga last year - don't count them out.

Madison should be the cream of the crop out of the NOVA publics.

Is Madison playing any of the private school teams this year?

Doesn’t Madison historically always play Saint Stephens or PVI or Potomac School?
Anonymous
Bullis played Madison in the MadLax thing in late November and only beat them by 1. And yes, PVI plays them at home.
