Wondering if the Express lanes are impacted in anyway. What about the merge into 3rd street tunnel or bridge coming out of the tunnel?

what are they protesting? I see signs "no mandates." but what mandates? The supreme court axed the mandate for private businesses. The federal employee mandate is held up (not like anyone cares about federal employees anyway). Almost all of the mask mandates have/are ending. Plus those are state and local level decisions. So WTF are they protesting? They are 6 months late.

yes they are. luckily I know the city well enough. I decided to put an axe, baseball bat and spike in my truck just in case these truckers decide to get more confrontational.

It has nothing to do with facts or actual grievances. They were sent to be disruptive in the Captial while policy makers were dealing with Ukraine. They got hauled out of Canada before causing too much trouble and they were never allowed to really come into DC

Now, they are currently stuck on the beltway as safety officials deal with a multi care pile up that closed the outer loop past Conn Ave.

A trucker member of the so-called “People’s Convoy” apparently can’t hack it in D.C. traffic and engaged in a little road rage on Monday afternoon, getting out of his truck to confront a driver and punch his window. During his own live stream, truck driver John Bigard, host of the OTR Survival YouTube channel, was seen getting out of his vehicle on U.S. 395 and confronting a driver who seemingly attempted to merge from a far left lane towards an exit. At one point, Bigard was seen yelling at the driver before repeatedly striking the driver side window of the silver car. Upon getting back into his truck, the convoy trucker appeared to mock the driver’s accent while calling him a “f———- idiot.”

Did nit take them that long to get violent! Wonder why the police are not arresting this guy?

This was not the anti-vaccine mandate trucker convoy’s first episode of road rage, as they have been spitefully boxing in cars in response to drivers giving them the middle finger. “We will continue to address any violations of the law while we maintain the free flow of traffic,” a Maryland State Police official told The Daily Beast Monday morning.

Where they come from, they aren't used to this much traffic and angry people going into work or coming home from work. Theya re so not used to things, like think blu collar people going to work and flipping them the bird are "antifa" caravans.
