My tech stocks are booming. I could buy a vacation home with how much they've gone up.

Voters should start mailing these receipts to Congress. Light a bonfire under their butts.

Well, CNN says 10% inflation is possible. Biden was warned all the way back last summer to GET A HANDLE ON INFLATION. Not only is it not transitory, it is going through the roof to levels we've never seen. WTF?

Exclusive: Russia-Ukraine conflict could cause inflation to hit 10%, new analysis finds

Don't worry! Some people's tech stock made them rich enough to buy a vacation home. All is well!

Yes, let’s complain to Congress about how the price of our luxury items has increased. I could have fed my entire family that meal for that price, including a bottle of wine. If a $2 surcharge on a restaurant meal is such a hardship for you, make the food yourself. F’in ridiculous.

Shut up.

You are completely out of touch. Romano's is not a luxury item. Keep ignoring inflation data. Housing is starting to skyrocket because rents are now going up....by a lot. Next you'll be claiming people need to stop crying about rent increase because rents are a luxury item. God you Democrats are so dumb. First you said inflation was transitory. Then you claim it is only luxury items that are exploding in price. Now you're claiming inflation is good because it'll will monetize away debt and reduce consumption. The excuses never end when Democrats are in charge of the worst inflation in 40 years. Biden is literally Jimmy Carter 2, and you are going to get stuffed at the polls this year and in 2024. People are pissed about their rising costs of everything. You aren't fooling anyone by claiming a receipt from Romano's is a 'luxury item'.

Go lookup the CPI and PPI macro data and tell me it's partisan, moron.

Keep telling everyone inflation is only a problem for 'luxury items'. You Dems are going to absolutely obliterated at the polls.

+1 Wait till inflation hits double digits. I wonder how Democrats will spin that.

Never said that, but a kids takeout meal from Romanos is a piss poor example of how inflation is hitting the most vulnerable in the pocket. I don’t know many hard off people that can afford to waste $20 on takeout for what is the restaurant equivalent of box pasta with jar sauce. I could have made the same thing for 8 from scratch with organic chicken for that kind of money. I could have made the same thing for 4 using packaged products for less than half that and in less time time than it would have taken to drive to the restaurant, down a Bud light, and then drive home.

It’s you who’s out of touch, Buddy. What’s next, are you going to complain about how the Dems are going to be hammered over the price of caviar? Crab too expensive for you after Trump shut down the visa programs?

Honestly I don't even know where to look to find 10% or higher inflation in the history books. 1929? World War II?

Temporary Inflation Fee is not a legitimate thing. That is a price increase disguised as a political statement. In this case, it is a 13.33% price increase and the TIF is taxed. If they need to raise prices because of inflation, then raise the prices proportionally. This way is some bullshit.
