Agree with this. They did the exact same thing with "Butter Emails!" when Hillary was running. My theory is that where it comes to politics, they want a horse race, perhaps to make it more "exciting" for their audiences. Even when one side is objectively better they want to try and artificially even it up by minimizing the problems on one side while amplifying the problems on the other. |
I yearn for the days when so-called political scandals were as frivolous as Hillary's emails or Obama's tan suit. |
There was nothing frivolous about those. Even scandals so stupid as the tan suit were evidence of a machine that geared up to create opposition, whether meaningful or pointless, against Democrats. The machine is always and only turned against Democrats. Trump commit treason against this country in multiple ways and it is completely undiscussed as he runs for president in order to gain power for life and stop the oncoming prosecutions. |
Trump is way worse than Biden on every level but the simple fact is neither man is fit to be president through 2029. The media is going to point out their obvious weaknesses because that's what they do. If Trump and Biden don't like it, they can retire from politics as they should. |
Oh, Washington Post. How far you’ve fallen. One of the comments on this attempted smear article says the new owners have taken “democracy dies in darkness” as a mission statement, not a warning and they’re right.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/12/17/james-bidens-dealmaking-caught-fbi-tapes-unrelated-bribery-probe/ (It’s about four hours till the right wing machine disseminates the talking points, at which point there will be a thread started on that article.) |
The Washington Post "Democracy Dies in Darkness" tagline is a joke.
They only cover half the news stories. The other half never get printed. It always seems to fall in one direction. But please, go on about "Democracy". |
Try mother jones … |
This was already listed above. Mother Jones, The Nation and Ms. That’s pretty much the totality of the “liberal media.” Vs NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, all the major newspapers… |
Does anyone actually seek out media with conservative or liberal bias? I always assumed people were just naive and duped into thinking media sources like Fox News and MSNBC were real news with no slant. Are you saying people seek deception? Really sad if this is the case. |
“A Gallup poll released this month found that 77% of Americans believe crime rates are worsening, but new FBI data and other statistics show otherwise.”

An entire article about the gangbusters economy and, after months of blaming Biden for every aspect of the economy, they don’t mention him a single time during this entire article. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/12/26/holiday-sales-retail-mastercard/ |
The whole idea that mainstream media is "liberal" and controlled by liberals is, in fact, part of the lies the GOP/right-wing have sown for years. |
