But those seem really obvious and I’m sure that there are tons of press agencies that are similarly aligned.

NYT and NPR are center/center-right these days.

A little early to be drinking isn't it?

If they aren't covering the 1/6 events and the criming of the Trump Administration in perspective, then they certainly aren't left leaning, so the PP is accurate.

They are only left wing in the sense that they when they repeat Republican propaganda, they usually include the democratic take too.

You realize that is nuts, right?

WaPo isn't "really left or right?"

You lose the center when you can't even pretend to be objective about things.

Please explain why this is insane. Just saying the WaPo is left doesn’t make it so. I realize most people on the right think WaPo is leftist, but people on the left think it’s right.

Is NYT left wing or right wing? They have had to retract/correct an awful lot, the latest being the claim that 900K children had been hospitalized due to Coronavirus.

I think the analysis is skewed. I would move the middle line to the left about halfway to the next line. I consider BBC, PBS, Reuters to be in the middle. It is interesting how people's perceptions of where the middle is has slowly skewed to the right over the past few decades.

The bigger point in this chart is that we should all be sticking to the top section of this pyramid. Left vs. Right is the false dichotomy that hides the obvious: Top vs. bottom is what is really important. And you will notice that the closer you get to the top of the chart, the closer the left-leaning and right-leaning outlets appear.

We should all be choosing news sources above the green line!!! Pick one, any one. Just dump the outlets below it and America will be fine.

Ummm what??

This front page particle on McAuliffe-Youngkin quotes five Republicans and one Democrat. Why?

NYTimes used to be left-of-center. Now they are straight up left. If you think they are “middle of the road” or “right-leaning,” you are living in a bubble and would benefit from broadening your sources.

I don’t know, but hopefully you are intelligent enough to know that counting quotes in a single article is not a rigorous methodology for determining the bias of an entire media company.

OANN is propaganda, not news. Same with Newsmax and FOX.

Those are not right-wing. National Review is right-wing as is WSJ.

Dominion will own OANN and Newsmax in a few years.

Even in the UK the BBC is considered left leaning.

it shows Forbes as left leaning. Do you consider Forbes left leaning?

+1 NPR is vacuous prattle.

Far Left wing: NPR, MSNBC, WaPo

Center left wing: CNN, NYT

Neutral/unbiased: WSJ News (not editorial)

Right Wing: Fox, OAN

Lots of assertions that NYTimes, WaPo etc are left wing with absolutely no evidence or arguments to back it up.

When did they report Hunter Biden's laptop?

Wapo still has not reported on the mess in Loudoun County Schools and the cover up of a sexual assault. Instead they made the victim's dad into a "domestic terrorist."
