Diet shake recommendation (for meal replacement)

Anonymous
Trying to lose some baby weight and lunch is a big weakness. I never pack one even when I day I will and food trucks make it hard. Want to replace this meal entirely with something easy to throw in my purse.

Any suggestions? I don't want a while lot of fake stuff in it.

Thanks

The only way to have a shake with no fake stuff in it is to take a blender and whole veggies/fruits to work with you and make it there.

I do shakeology (strawberry) it's delicious!!!!!! I do it for the convenience like you are looking for. I lost 5 pounds really fast, but gained some back over the holidays. I like to have a yogurt snack maybe 3 hours after. It's sold on the beach body website but I bet you have a friend on FB always like hey anyone want to lose weight or workout with me . . They sell it (you buy online but they get a commission when you say they referred u). Oh the chocolate is awesome too. Buy the packets not the big container.

You should read the ingredients list before buying that shakeology if you're worried about fake stuff in a shake.

It's mostly protein, fruits veggies, vitamins, and herbal supplements. You can't find a shake like it. I've tried and gave up.

I do the chocolate Shakeology.
It's not "fake stuff".

OMG, learn how to cook and pack leftovers. If you went to the trouble of having a kid, you'll need to learn this at some point.

Shakes are for short term weight loss. You'll end up fatter than ever if you don't know how to know basic life skills like cooking and making a lunch.

Is there anything like Shakeology but without the artificial sweeteners?

I've been researching the Vega protein powders. I tried Shakeology and wanted to gag.

Look at Orgain shakes. Agree, no shake is for the long term. What about a salmon burger and greens. Take that to work. Healthy, filling and done.

Thanks for the super helpful posts about how I'm lazy.

I'm just not doing it. I'm saying I will but forget all the time and then end up getting lunch out. At what point would it be acceptable to you all for me to admit this isn't my strong suit and look at other options. I just want to drop 10-15 pounds I'm not trying to go crazy, this is a short term effort. And an attempt to break my desire for lunches out by breaking the habit.

Thank you to those who were helpful.

Has anyone tried ideal shake? Someone IRL recommended

I know how it is during the day wanting good food to break up the day. Having good food/meal during the work day is like a little treat to ourselves and it makes us feel better. I know, I've been there. However, in my new job, I HAVE to pack a lunch. I have no option to leave or grab something else because I don't want what I brought. I have been making sandwiches, hummus and pretzels/veg, applesauce with cinnamon. I don't necessarily want that meal, but it's not bad for me and it fills me up. I suggest just trying packing your lunch for one week and eating it before your actual lunchtime to fill you up. That way, you will not WANT to go out to the food trucks, but maybe read a book or peruse DCUM, instead.

I often do chocolate protein powder and 1% milk in a shaker cup with ice. Add a banana and you're set.
