Feel free to flag it for Jeff and suggest moving it to wherever you think it's more appropriate, but weight loss questions seem to be equally split between Health & Medicine and Sports & Fitness. It's an imperfect system. |
There's no artificial sweeteners - checked my regular strawberry and it only says "non-GMO fructose" and stevia. |
| The VegaOne is plant based. It's expensive, but it has been holding me over all morning. I'm using it as a replacement for breakfast. |

I like chocolate chip Quest bars. I keep them in my office in case I have a long meeting and can't get to my lunch. It really holds me over. I would not recommend this for every day though.
I know this was not your question, but if you cook dinner, and have to put everything away. Why not just put a serving of dinner in a container so it is ready to go the next morning? |
Yup - Stevia is an artificial sweetener. With a nasty aftertaste. The Vega kind has Stevia too. They should just skip all sweeteners. |
+1, I can't stand stevia! It leaves an awful coating in my mouth and makes everything else taste bad as well. |
Stevia is actually a natural sweetener. My neighbors grew Stevia plants for a while. If you chew on their leaves, they are very sweet, with an odd chemical aftertaste. |

Great breakfast: coffee plus almond milk, Greek yogurt plus English toffee stevia drops.

| 2 packets of chocolate pro cal. You can eat it as a shake or pudding. As far as I know, you can only buy them online. I eat one of two every day, usually mixed with coffee. Each packet has 100 calories and 15 grams of protein and I like the taste. |
Ok - let's call it a nasty sugar substitute with a bad aftertaste. Still not desirable! |
| How bad is milk in coffee in the morning? What do you gain by substituting with almond milk? |
