Cap continues with its high academic orientation. Isn’t that why many of our girls play - to use lax to get into a high academic reach school?

Probably coming from a parent whose child had low grades and mediocre lax skills that shouldn't have been on that Capital Blue. Also, targeting schools out of reach. They were never going to get into a top 20 school or an Ivy League because of their poor grades and mediocre skills. Or an outside hater. Remember, they do not major in lacrosse, and most will not become professional lacrosse players, so the smart player would target the right academic fit that matches their skill level. I would definitely be using lacrosse to get into an Ivy League.

I highly doubt you could get into "an Ivy League" given the above. Crazy doubtful you'd be using lacrosse for anything either.
