Wrong, 25s made changes after the fall season. Don’t kid yourself. The coaches are looking for the best players to make a team. Some might get moved I. The winter. |
I was responding to the parent who mentioned that things were not going as well as we may believe. I was suggesting that the parent in question might have a kid with lower grades and less advanced skills, so the recruiting situation is not going well for them. I imagine players with excellent grades and high skills are doing well, but this may not be the case for those with low grades and mediocre skills. You misunderstood my point. I would say things are going pretty well with those commitments. No way a mediocre skilled player with poor grades is getting into any of the schools these players are committed to on Cap Blue so far... |

PP here - I don't have a 26 but I do know many of those parents and the comment was based on what I am hearing from their mouths. I don't have insight into their grades but they are on top teams and starters on their respective private school teams. |
Maybe they are skilled players with low grades. |
The roster caps are definitely an issue for some. |
I’m in the pine trees on the south side of the school. Great view of the fields |
Are these just changes between the upper team and lower team? It would seem like a challenge to find entirely new high-quality players in the fall or winter. |
I just saw the 28 Coppermine roster. 10 girls left the team. Anybody know what happened to that team? |
1 middie to hero’s 5 players to M&D 1 to FCA 1 moved They still have a solid core of middies and attack and will do fine. |
The reality is, if you're not on Capital Blue, offers will be few and far between. You can get offers to some schools that don't have the name recognition, but nothing close to a Duke or Michigan. Even the back half of the Capital Blue roster will not go to top tier lax schools. They will get funneled to higher academic schools. It's highly competitive out there so set expectations. |
Good for these girls! Just another example of how girls know that when you get to high school you move to a team with a recruiting history! |
Very true - many parents have unrealistic expectations and it only hurts themselves and the kids. Expect nothing and be surprised! |
I don't know why those girls left but I doubt it was because of "recruiting history". |
You don't think girls went to M&D or Hero's to get recruited? |
