Great topic!! The whole album Astral Weeks is magnificent. I vividly remember my boyfriend giving it to me in high school and being mesmerized by it. I would put it in my top 10 records of all time. I love the first lines of Astral Weeks: "If I ventured in the slipstream, between the viaducts of your dream, where immobile steel rims crack, and the ditch in the back roads stop. Could you find me? Would you kiss my eyes? To lay me down in silence, easy. To be born again." Pure poetry.
