Disagree. These recent attacks by groups of young men are very rare in these neighborhoods and uncommon and people who live there are very scared because there have been four in two weeks. I have lived here for 20 plus years and never heard of these sorts of attacks - especially 4 in two weeks in these neighborhoods. It is not your place to judge others' feelings and assume the worst. There is a real concern and instead of allowing the posters to discuss their concern- you shut it down.

There are several other threads with less inflammatory subject lines discussing the same thing. The topic is even being discussed in the Wilson gun thread in the DCPS forum. I am not preventing discussion, I am preventing necessarily inflammatory topics that are offensive to many of our users.

Then use your neighborhood listserv to make sweeping inflammatory statements.
