Are really this f’ing clueless or are you just lying to push your agenda? You really should learn history before posting your idiotic ideas.

Interesting! So you support a designated terrorist state. How utterly unsurprising. |
He didn't say he supported the genocidal state of Israel or ICC war criminal Benjamin benjamin mileikowsky |
| Will Darth Vader put out another AI video tomorrow? |
Yep, and I'm sure he'll be skipping his 3rd military meeting to grab some coffee or enjoy the outdoors while his country is getting blasted by missles |

Disagree strongly with Bolton on almost every foreign policy issue. But, he is correct that IF the United States were pursuing regime change in Iran this was the most ill-conceived way of doing so. Regime change is a fool’s game, but it would require a lot of ground work with domestic Iranian opposition leaders. You can’t just assassinate the top religious leader and pretend it is mission accomplished. |
Why do you keep arguing? Carter literally forced himself as an envoy, negotiated his own deal without having authorization to do so, and then prevented Clinton from being able to walk it back. I literally remember Carter coming on CNN announcing he had a deal. I also studied this shit, including briefly with one of DJ's close advisers, and spoke with one of the LWR inspectors. From the BBC article I posted: Carter first sought permission from the State Department, who blanked him. Unfazed, he decided to simply inform then-US president Bill Clinton that he was going, no matter what. He had an ally in vice-president Al Gore, who intercepted Carter's communication to Clinton. "[Al Gore] called me on the phone and told me if I would change the wording from "I've decided to go" to "I'm strongly inclined to go" that he would try to get permission directly from Clinton… he called me back the next morning and said that I had permission to go." From your CSIS article: Exactly this: "Carter was specifically told that he was not empowered to negotiate any agreements on behalf of the United States." Yet he did. And your Nixon/Reagan examples had nothing to do with negotiating a settlement when another President was in office. And was Reagan negotiating with himself during Iran/Contra? i thought you meant the hostages because that was before he came into office. |

Trump says the greatest experts didn't expect Iran to defend itself.
Is he serious? He must be saying this for laughs or something. I can’t believe he isn’t being facetious/sarcastic with some of the things he says |
What a remarkable end to his legacy if that’s how he really died by an Iranian missile. That’s almost too embarrassing of an L to ever admit to |
Surprised the Us didn’t place a base in Iran near the strait of Hormuz back when the shah ran the country |
The designation was made by terrorist states. The designation was made by those who showed Int'l law has no meaning with Gaza. That the UN is garbage. That the ICC is garbage. No one gives a f***ing sh*t about a "designation" being made by belligerent warmongers who serve a genocidal 80 year old regime in Occupied PALESTINE. I get that the avg American is proudly stupid as hell, but there's no excuse at this point when it comes to the ACTUAL history of Iran and still lying about how we got to this point. And that includes how the Hostage situation unfolded in the first place. At some point, have a little humility when it comes to your nauseatingly awful comprehension of geopolitics because you got your "education" from pseudo-intellectual trashbags running Neocon/Zionist Thinktanks for decades and who are the only ones ever invited onto media roundtables. |
Yes, anyone familiar with this knew it would entrench hardliners. |
