+1 I can't wait for January 20th!

Do you think Melania will wear her "I really don't care, do U?" jacket to the inauguration?

zero chance they attend the inauguration. They will leave the day before and go to Mar A Logo

There's just so much...Jared in jeans, Kayleigh's bunching (and too big logo on the tote...tacky, IMO), and who is the woman in the off-the-shoulder cocktail dress?

Agree I want to know more about cocktail dress lady.

What’s going on with Kayleigh’s dress? Is that ruching gone wrong? A wrap scrunched up? It’s a very strange place for a gigantic wad of crumpled fabric.

Some sort of modesty ruffle?

She’s getting fashion tips from Amy Coney Barrett

Did we ever figure out who cocktail dress lady is?? She’s probably got covid now (she’s standing next to Mark Meadows who announced that night to some but it broke just now that he has covid).

Omg! Give me back my grandma’s sheet! She needs it for her twin bed!

Do you have to stop if they go away? I’m sure they’ll remain in the public eye.

But with luck they'll be wearing orange all day every day.

But Melania's will be a trench coat with a huge belt. Ivanka will sew on boob pockets and a peplum. Tiffany will cut holes to make it a cold-shoulder garment.

I don't think there will be a big public inauguration. Pandemic, remember? It will probably be a really small ceremony since Biden is actually responsible.

I am going to miss this thread...it really got me through the tough days - BUT I am glad why it is gone. I don't think I could emotionally have gone through 4 more years of this thread (and those people)

This is the OP. Of the original thread. I know, you don’t have to thank me. I knew when I started that thread sooooo long ago that we would have a lot of material, but I very could not have known that even in some of our country’s darkest days this thread would bring the silly, bitter relief that it has. Our long sartorial nightmare may well be over soon, but even if it isn’t, we will still have each other. Y’all are some bad bitches and we will brighten each other’s days no matter what happens, I can promise you that.

Thank you OP.

You brought some joy to these hellish years.

And this thread coined some great new lingo...

I think the whole trump clown car will leave DC long before inauguration. Maybe they can invite the other surviving presidents to be present instead?

You are welcome! But you don’t have to thank me and I am SO RELIEVED and so glad to be done! I don’t think I’m even feeling the true joy of the moment because of the overwhelming relief!

hey, I'm the one who offered sleeve fascinators (I suppose Kayleighs whatever it is could be called a stomach fascinator).
