That's not liberal bias.
Alec isn't a liberal, he is an actor. He has little to no influence on politics. The issue is that he is very powerful in Hollywood and he's like the good ol boys of Hollywood- attack him and his powerful posse will blackball you.
Don't think he's a conservative!
lol at "Alec is very powerful in Hollywood."
He owns nothing in Hollywood, i,e, has no studio he owns, no tv network he owns, no award winning profitable show or film he owns. He's talent. Not to say that doesn't have some pull and relationships, but at the end of the day it's based on performance and he's a good actor, does the job, etc. He's not "very powerful in Hollywood." Connected, for sure. But, there's no loyalty at Best Buy for the appliances, so to speak.
I think the most power he has in Hollywood is that he plays trump on SNL, so maybe they’ll refrain from joking about it. However he is personally terrifying and he has a large platform.
He's incredibly talented, attractive, etc. Unfortunate for the issues, though even more so that this recent situation was not his fault or doing. However, his "large platform" is social media, hardly "powerful" in anywhere. He's not a standalone success, truly, and while that isn't bad, to imply he has this enormous clout because OMG social media followers puts him at the level of several thousand non stars, non talent, nobodies. He isn't that, but his bread isn't buttered by his "platform."
Truly, he'll be fine because he makes people money on the platforms that generate far more than posts about Waxelene and dust busters. and he's old, old school. If he wasn't taken down calling his child a pig or beating up people, his wife being a grifter isn't going to do it to him.
