I think he amped up the impersonation after he knew it was fake.

That's not liberal bias. Alec isn't a liberal, he is an actor. He has little to no influence on politics. The issue is that he is very powerful in Hollywood and he's like the good ol boys of Hollywood- attack him and his powerful posse will blackball you.

Don't think he's a conservative!

lol at "Alec is very powerful in Hollywood."

He owns nothing in Hollywood, i,e, has no studio he owns, no tv network he owns, no award winning profitable show or film he owns. He's talent. Not to say that doesn't have some pull and relationships, but at the end of the day it's based on performance and he's a good actor, does the job, etc. He's not "very powerful in Hollywood." Connected, for sure. But, there's no loyalty at Best Buy for the appliances, so to speak.

I think the most power he has in Hollywood is that he plays trump on SNL, so maybe they’ll refrain from joking about it. However he is personally terrifying and he has a large platform.

He's incredibly talented, attractive, etc. Unfortunate for the issues, though even more so that this recent situation was not his fault or doing. However, his "large platform" is social media, hardly "powerful" in anywhere. He's not a standalone success, truly, and while that isn't bad, to imply he has this enormous clout because OMG social media followers puts him at the level of several thousand non stars, non talent, nobodies. He isn't that, but his bread isn't buttered by his "platform."

Truly, he'll be fine because he makes people money on the platforms that generate far more than posts about Waxelene and dust busters. and he's old, old school. If he wasn't taken down calling his child a pig or beating up people, his wife being a grifter isn't going to do it to him.

What?! No. Some incredibly talented and attractive actors are Brad Pitt, Daniel Day-Lewis, Joaquin Phoenix, and George Clooney. He's a has been, old and overweight.

+1 He has his moments but agree he's not in their league. And they all married far more talented and accomplished women.

I'm betting $ that Clooney will run for some political position soon.

No, because that’s blatantly false.

Why would he? His life is pretty goddam perfect the way it is, and he has a relatively new marriage and young children.

I hadn’t even thought about that but (conspiracy theory ahead, sorry folks) what if she typed out/sent those texts ~en (elementary) espanol~ on Alec’s/a nanny’s/whoever’s phone then changed the contact name to make it seem like it was from her ~hermano~

Which is crazy because they were playing with fire the more they drew attention to it. That must have been part of the thrill. How completely mental. Now those completely American , Irish kids are stuck with names that will always be a reminder of this.

Oh so if you actually look at the text it doesn’t even show the sender. Could have been anyone. AND if he did say all of those things why not say them in a video? In Spanish, of course.

Ireland turned out OK and her name is Ireland.

Also, if authentic, wouldn't he say, "WE grew up in Boston with two cultures"?

I do find her attractive but her face/ eyebrows are very asymmetrical.

Yeah the fact that no one and I mean no one has come to her defense and corroborated any of her story makes it really obvious this whole I grew up in Spain story was not truthful. Daily mail can't even find anyone that remembers meeting her in Mallorca.

She has actual Irish heritage. ....and an Irish last name to match. Hilary gave her kids like each 3 or 4 over the top Spanish names and they have zero Spanish in them.

You’re right! That’s a good catch.

I haven't checked in since page 2! This whole time I thought we were still going on about her pregnancy until I just saw her name on the news. DCUM, you have sleuthed it out!
