ECNL will be tapped out with about eight more clubs being announced. Heavy weights like Legends FC will get back in after spending a year in purgatory (ECNL-R). Look for major club. Tophat and FCV will be excluded and continue to carry the GA flag.

Are any local clubs getting ECNL?

The only joke is Loudoun conning parents into paying 5k for an ECNL patch receiving coaching that would embarrass anyone that regards themselves competent

GA announcement link please? otherwise this is complete BS.

Hard to believe that Chantilly would get it. Herndon somewhat more believable but they are right between Metro and FCV so it doesn't make much sense.

WHAT IS THE GIRLS ACADEMY?
The Girls Academy (GA) has announced a series of new member clubs since the start of 2021, as the league advances its expansion efforts ahead of its second season of play.

Currently in the midst of its inaugural season featuring a national membership of 69 clubs, the Girls Academy will be significantly larger when the 2021-2022 campaign begins next fall.

So far this year, the GA has revealed 10 incoming member clubs that will be joining the league for season two. The Northwest Conference and the Southeast Conference have seen the most growth so far, each adding four members. Meanwhile, the Frontier Conference has added two clubs.

See below for a look at the clubs that have been accepted, their conference alignment and quotes from club leadership along with comments from GA Commissioner Leslie Gallimore.

Frontier Conference

Kansas Rush
BVB International Academy – Texas
Southeast Conference

AFC Lightning
Palm Beach Gardens Predators

Not in Virginia. I seriously doubt you will see another ECNL club in Virginia...possibly ever

Tophat vs Palm Beach Gardens Predators and South Carolina Surf.

Is this a joke? LOL.

This has to be the end of the road.
