Men and transwomen shouldn't have reproductive rights?

The reproductive rights of men and trans women are not under threat, correct.

The question is if there is a movement by trans women to change the language around men's health public campaigns to be inclusive. For example, where is the campaign to delete the word "men" from the zerocancer.org website?

My point was that the reason that you get trans woman focused information about prostate cancer is because trans women have been raised the issue. It's not a formal campaign, with a website, but it's part of the conversation. I know personally a number of trans people, both men and women, and I know that if I said "men should get screen for prostate cancer" I'd get both the response that some women (and non-binary people with prostates) should get screened and some men don't have prostates. Even just as a partner of a trans person, I'd push back on that statement in lot of contexts, because I know it's what my trans friends would want me to do.

DP. Ditto testicular cancer, in my experience. Women who are trans, who have testicular cancer.

Yes, they are, unless you define reproductive rights exclusively in terms of people who are/can get pregnant. But why would you do that? Nobody gets pregnant by themselves.

yeah, but would you engage in a screed that zerocancer.org is trans phobic and try to pressure the organization to remove the word "men" and try to get their funding pulled?

you're just proving the point. you want to bury women's rights and the right of women to advocate in their own interest as a disfavored class for their unique interests.

Really? Enlighten me on how people without uteruses' reproductive rights are under attack. Specific examples. Many specific examples of how the reproductive rights of women and trans men are under attack have been specifically written about here.

There are states that require trans people to have surgery before they can have their birth certificate gender changed (a few have the same requirement for driver's licenses). This is, in practice, a requirement that all trans people be sterilized (an attack on their right to retain the ability to reproduce if they so choose) before they can socially transition.

Nope. I'm just saying that EVERYBODY - all humans - have reproductive rights.

Sure, all people have some sort of “reproductive rights”.

One of the sub-groups currently under attack are “People with Uteruses”. We should stick together and help each other because we have common interests.

Fine. But women's reproductive rights are under threat and we have the right to advocate for ourselves as a bloc.

That strikes me as a very unique and specific trans issue. I am MORE than happy to support trans people as they advocate for their specific rights to bodily integrity. To argue that we can't talk about women's reproductive rights because some trans men are threatened with sterilization is a loco outcome.

that's literally what's happening - pressure to remove the word "women" and change institutions that are focused on women's rights.
