No need to be hateful, judgmental a-holes.

Op here. I’m not being hateful or judgmental.

I’m just curious if people think this is going too far.

Watch the Maher segment. I’m liberal, and I thought he was nuts. The panel thought he was nuts. They said something like this would never happen. Prager must have seen this news and the rest hadn’t (the article predates the segment). Curious what Maher and Ronan think now.

Full disclosure: I didn’t even know always used the Venus symbol, and I’ve used them for decades. Couldn’t care less if they ditch it.

AKA judgmental.

It reeks of malevolent intentions.

If it doesn’t affect you why do you care at all?

I don’t actually care about the packaging.

Rather, I’m intrigued by the fact that a conservative raised this as an issue on Maher’s show, and the entire panel blasted him. They clearly hadn’t heard about anything like this, so they basically called him out as a liar or hysterical conservative.

Now that the Always story is gaining traction (was it on George Takei’s FB, so everyone will year about it), I’m just curious how people feel about it. Again: not so much the Always packaging, but the fact that Maher and the panel seemed to think something like this would never happen.

Absolutely NBD.

I DO think tampons, pads, and menstrual cups should free or at least heavily subsidized. It's kind of unfair that 50% of the population has to shell out some $$$ for something that's inherent in our DNA no matter what we do or don't do.

“Free”= someone else pays for it.

Worry about your own body.

This.

I don’t care how a company chooses to market its products.

I think the demand to remove the symbol and the caving in to it is stupid, though.

It’s completely insane to me that anyone is trying to make this a thing. I’m cis and I’d be very cool with less feminine packaging on menstrual products. It’s a little stupid.

LOL...love mind your own vagina ;0)

Honestly, just wanted to discuss this in an anonymous forum/safe space. Can’t discuss this IRL...which was sorta Prager’s point.

And this is the real conversation we should have.

Anyone care to discuss this?

People want to be inclusive.
It still doesn’t affect you.

What is there to discuss?

Venus, the Godx of those who menstruate.

Why remove the symbol, when you can just decide for your self what the symbol represents?
Anonymous
What is a venus symbol?

“Going too far”? That’s some real pearl clutching there. Always can do wtf they want. You can buy their product or not. Nbd
