Haiti's issues with garbage and sewage existed prior to the earthquake. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3795096/ That article discusses that it was in the 1980's that Haiti decided to take on its sewage problem, but violence prevented using foreign funding to build the infrastructure. It wasn't until 2009 that a plan was signed into law to build out the system with $300 million in foreign aid. Their sewage issues have NOTHING to do with the earthquake, but clearly it exacerbated it. |
So what? You don’t really want to compare the worst chain migrants who have been arrested on terrorism charges and heinous criminal acts to see how they stack up against all of those that are West Point grads do you? Because guess how that will turn out. The reality is that with chain migration we don’t get the best and brightest regularly. |

Boom! The beat downs keep coming. Imagine a chain migrant meriting a free four years of US education - that must piss off the nativists. |

Interesting that you say that because I know dozens of Eritrean immigrants (my SIL is Eritrean) - every last one of them has fully embraced "Western" values. Well, there are some that have not - but they are elderly. |
