Yup. He's perfectly cast. (And perfect. Haha). |
| By the way, the way they made madeline less likeable than she is in the book made sense when I realized David's kelley wrote this. He really tends to write unlikeable, neurotic female characters. Not a fan. |
This made me day! |
Of course it's fake, and obviously, you didn't read the amazing article. |
|
Sunday night special. Watching Nicole Kidman as Celeste on BLL and as +1 at the Country Music Awards show.
Hope both of her husbands get what they deserve tonight. |
|
| OMG!!!!!! I loved the ending |
| Holy shit! Great ending! So glad I didn't read the book first. I was at the edge of my seat the whole episode. |
Omg can't believe I called it. Well not exactly but kinda. Great ending! Great endings are so rare! True detective and The Killing could really learn from this shit. |
|
Ok now I can finally say;
The madeleine affair was not in the book and I'm super annoyed they added it |
| Curious if you non book readers enjoyed the ending or found it anticlimactic after ALL the dramatic foreshadowing. I'm a book reader so I knew how it ended and was "worried" that the ending would seem lame, especially with all the build up! |
| I am surprised they lied. Bonnie could have used the defense of other defense to justify her action and she should have never been charged. I actually know someone who shot and killed a man in Hanover County, VA because he wouldn't stop beating up his sister (yes, they were trashy) but it is an actual common law defense. It's also the reason why Seinfeld and friends ended up in jail in the last episode (because they didn't render aid and someone died, you can claim he defense if you kill someone and sometimes you have the duty to aid). In this case, Bonnie may not have had a duty but any of them could have pushed him and should never be charged. |
| It wasn't shown what they were lying about. They should've just dropped that story line, with the police interview at the end and the "why lie?" It was dumb. |
| So was that view thru binoculars at the end supposed to imply that the theater guy's wife was still stalking Madeline?? |
I think it was supposed to be the detective watching them, no? They don't go into it (on the show) what happens so the detectives still know they're lying. |
