Lol if BP had to pull a 2011 that usually runs with the 2010s just to crush Wilmington, that says it all. Imagine needing to stack your roster against one of the weakest teams in the conference just to feel safe. Yikes

Maybe there was a different reason that player played in that game?
pt differential is important if you have post season goals…. Says a lot that one team couldn’t run it up on another local team this weekend.

I imagine the subs were less than thrilled to have a guest playing that game when they thought theyd get actual playing time against the weakest team in the division...nope...thanks BP

He knows how the optics work and will work them into his favor so the team looks good on paper. It's what draws attention, like it or not it obviously works.

Hmmmm. Maybe VDA 2011 had 13 healthy players and they needed an extra player while VDA 2010 is 100% healthy and would’ve had to sit a player since they have 17 field players? So use a player in the 2011 game to free up a 2010 slot on the game day roster?

You can carry on with the conspiracy theories though. No press is bad press, right?

this is the way…. To the postseason and guaranteed cuts next year if it doesn’t happen. Smart crafty coach is smart.

No conspiracy here. Just curious if that wasn’t true doe their game on Sat against courage?

VDA proved they are an average team full of instagram stars. Move on. On the other hand, Wilmington is a rec team with an ECNL badge. How are they in ECNL is the million dollars question.

How are the Wilmington 2011s in ECNL? Because their whole club is in ECNL.

I predict they will have the top spot. If they beat Courage, they can beat any of the other MA teams.

BP is all about optics, self promotion, club promotion and winning. If your player helps him do that then you are in the right place. He is not about player development at the cost of winning. As long as you know that its fine but families also leave for the same reason.

How does Richmond get better like this? Is it the coaching? I would imagine there isnt much change in players, so perhaps more time with the same players?

They added 4 new players last year and were a strong team. They appear to be strong again this year. Not news.
