Your kid is wonderful and the principles of quitting on teammates and playing to win will get them far in life.

The 2013's played in two leagues in the fall U12 9v9 RL and EDP U13 11v11. Thus the need for a larger roster for playing in multiple leagues and playing focus on playing up U13 11v11, and playing up in tournaments U13 11v11. If you have a few extra players for the eight U12 9v9 games, then so be it. Haters looking in from the outside can hate if they want.

This sends a clear message to other parents in the club. It’s not hate more so frustration of club politics. There are a bunch of good players in the club already. The correct thing to do is allow girls from a lower team a chance to play up. But when a club already has your money they don't care.

Play EDP and both 2013,2014 RL, How many games do these new girls play a week?
I agree that the club should bring kids from the lower team to play up.

First, yes there are decent girls on lower team. 2nd, at this age, its about development. 10-11 yr old winning games means nothing

I know that the 2013 team was already good before they joined the team, so don't claim the success because of a new girl, They were just lucky to join the great team!
And because the score doesn't mean they are better than any players, soccer is a team sport, we play as a team!

If the team was loaded already, 1) why did they add to the team and take away from others, 2) what does it teach our children to start with one club and 6 weeks into the season, quite on your teammates and switch to another team. The nepotism culture has a trickle down effect into the decisions that are made. Prioritizing the individual over the development of the team. Your kid is wonderful and the principles of quitting on teammates and playing to win will get them far in life.

They probably had room because the TD’s kid and multiple 2013s play up all the time for 2012 NVA.

That former GFR parent drew some unnecessary attention by posting though. Sidelines will be lit lol

I saw them at a game this fall and saw about 6 kids on the bench for a 9v9 game, sweet playing time.

The 2013's played in two leagues in the fall U12 9v9 RL and EDP U13 11v11. Thus the need for a larger roster for playing in multiple leagues and playing focus on playing up U13 11v11, and playing up in tournaments U13 11v11. If you have a few extra players for the eight U12 9v9 games, then so be it. Haters looking in from the outside can hate if they want.

Far most of the info here seems to be insider. And accurate for all of the years. Nepo drama… “anonymous” rebuttals. Even the obviously misguided 2011s are better posts from the old vs new families (or coach?) lol. Sounds like all the teams are having a ball in year 2. They are lead scorers playing 3+ games all fall. Cope harder about your average player. Those girls are amazing everyone knows it.

first the 2013s you talking about are 6th graders. The 2014 is a 5th grader and shes not the leading scorer. Shes too tiny but yes scored off a free kick.

We are talking about different players. There are two former great falls 2014 girls playing 11v11 with the 2013 red team and regularly score game after game; but keep being salty. They got cleared to tryout for nva next year already so you obviously have no idea what you are taking about. Unless you're the pissy parent being rude about them because they took your player's starting position.
