Typical ECNL bs, they will be better because they picked up solid players from other clubs…no need to develop your own…just keep recycling mid players that club hop every 2 years…no wonder VA never does well in nationals |
Close second to Arlington? That pre-season confidence is at its peak right now! |
| 11s are a good group. They finished one spot behind Brave last year but more upside going into the new season than FVU.FVU is going to need another year to settle.NVA will do well but not due to the new players who made it because they have connections to DB from his old team. That is his call and happens all the time so no complaints but not impactful. |
Do you think all of the top teams in the country develop their own? You don’t think they recruit and acquire players? Tell me how little you know about this, without telling me how little you know about this. There are clubs that have players fly in for games. Some of these players relocate entirely and their parents find jobs around the new club. is Manchester city’s entire roster from their Academy? |
Who do they get? I thought they got kid(s) from Union but those weren’t starting players? |
I don’t get it. Why is building through recruiting a bad thing for a club? It’s done everywhere. If a good player wants to join a club why would anyone turn them down? Seems to me some people don’t like that another team is better and so they need to find something to criticize. what’s next? their jersey colors are ugly? |
Not all came from Union/Mclean. |
Based on what I saw last year, 2011 NVA wasn’t a strong group and the new additions will be impactful. Predict a 7th place finish. |
Were they lower than 7th last year? |
8th |
|
2009's 1st/2nd
2012's 1st/2nd 2008's 2nd/3rd |
If the additions are to be impactful, wouldn’t they mean they should be in top 5? |
Does it? |
Girl Prediction 2012’s 1st 2013’s 1st 2014’s 1 st Loudoun has a very strong girl teams |
Not that I agree with those rankings especially because little girls teams are not a part of this discussion, but Arlington and Loudoun typically have strong teams at the younger ages due to the large size of their player pools. It gets interesting once the teams age up. Other than 2011, what does Arlington have? NVA 2011’s and 2010’s aren’t strong. Both clubs become average at best for the ECNL years. And now NVA has Revolution and FCV in their backyard. |
