| Has anyone considered that Martha Ann was calling for help? She’s married to Sam Alito after all. |
|
Turns out the Washington Post had this story three years ago and decided to protect the Alitos.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/05/25/alito-flag-martha-ann-washington-post/ So much for the “liberal” media |
This backs up everything Alito has said. It was raised as a “symbol of distress” by his wife and the Post realized back then it was a non story. The only thing that’s changed is that it’s an election year. Yawn. “A Post spokesperson said in the story Saturday the paper declined to report on the story at the time because it appeared the flag was raised by Martha-Ann Alito—and not the justice himself—and it appeared to be connected to a dispute with neighbors and that it was not clear at the time the argument was linked to politics.“ |
| She sounds like a thin skinned baby. Her husband is literally instrumental in slapping the women of this country back 50 years and she can't tolerate a yard sign of protest? Sounds like she is easily baited |
No. She didn’t like the profanity in view of children waiting for the school bus. She complained and the person called her a c__. So, she replied to that person. No one cared for three years. It is only being brought up to try to stir up sentiment against her husband |
Trump is a rapist and is in full view of every man woman and child in this country. Talk about offensive |
Schools were not open at the time. COVID. Moreover, the beach flag destroys these claims by Alito. |
Yep. So 3 1/2 years later, someone felt the need to make this story political - no doubt because it is an election year. |
The Alitos are lying, treasonous and seditionist dirtbags. Period. |
This is not a Trump thread. Your obsession is real. |
Huh? She said it was about some obnoxious anti trump yard sign. |
Exactly. |
Exactly. And he was flying a flag in support of Christian Nationalism at his other home. They are treasonous liars. |
He is a US Supreme Court Judge. He is supposed to be impartial. He is not supposed to flout the rules and display partisan symbols, particularly when he is ruling on cases related to that very issue he has so clearly demonstrated he is not impartial at all, but has a very clear bias in favor of the insurrectionists. If he wants to express his political views in public, he should step down from the SCOTUS. Until then, he needs to keep his views private, or recuse himself from cases where he has no business claiming impartiality. By flying flags supporting the January 6 uprising, Judge Alito demonstrates in full view of the public that he is not impartial, and therefore cannot be on the SCOTUS. |
Justices do not lose their First Amendment rights just because they sit on the Supreme Court. Also, you're making a significant assumption about the meaning of the flags and the intent in their display. Where is your objective evidence that Justice Alito or his wife support an overthrow of the U.S. Government? |
