Do you communicate this to the owners of the restaurant that you frequent or do you just not tip and pat yourself on the back for your principled stance? I’m sure the servers come up and shake your hand.

And it is put together by a person who is not a waiter.
I do tip a dollar or two, .50 at Starbucks for a custom drink. I see screens for carryout that start with 10 and end at 25%. No way.

I wish we could just get rid of it - tell me the full price and I will pay it. The restaurant can figure out how to divvy it up.

I'm assuming you've never worked in a restaurant? To go orders are usually assembled by either a waiter or the hostess, either way they make most of their money in tips

Raise prices at restaurants 20% and get rid of tips. It’s that easy.

why should I pay more when I am already paying enough for the food? Restaurant owners want to protect themselves by showing that the prices are low but it is not actually.
