I’m losing attention span today too (OP), but have been trying to give quick snippets. Yesterday’s hearing was cancelled to give tech more time to organize video testimony. No hearing tomorrow. I can’t find an updated schedule. Should be 3 more. Last one will be prime time at 8pm. Post if anyone finds it.

Trump called Pence a pussy the morning of the 6th. Eastman emailed Giuliani asking to be put “on the pardon list.” Giuliani thought Eastman’s theory was wrong but then still screamed about it at the Ellipse rally A Proud Boy informant told the FBI they would have killed Pence if they got to him |

Also Trump put out a totally false statement on the 5th that he and Pence were in agreement about rejecting the electoral votes, making it look like Lence changed his mind and betrayed him on the 6th. After that statement went out, Pence’s COS immediately told the Secret Service that Trump had put Pence in danger. |

Today was packed. Was going to bullet list the very end, but it should be watched. I won’t post the full vid link here but go to link https://january6th.house.gov/. The eloquence and respect between the committee, witnesses, the very excellent Chairman Bennie Thompson (Dem, Mississippi), and Liz Cheney is moving. We’re all desperately in need of civility. Check out the last few minutes.
This sums it up: John Eastman (Trump’s attorney) sent a text to Giuliani requesting to be added to the President’s pardon list. Guilty much ✅ Eastman was subpoenaed and pled the 5th 100+ times Luttig declared (paraphrasing) it’s not just about Jan 6th. He admits that never in his life would he declare that the county is in imminent danger in 2024 if it weren’t for Trump, his allies, and supporter telling the American public that we are in danger. He believes they will do it again if Trump is the Republican nominee. Sneak peak of next hearing (Monday, I think): Trump called Pence on 1/6/21 pressing him to illegally overturn election. Pence emphatically told Trump that he does not have the authority to do so. Trump called him a pu§§y After the call with Pence on 1/6/21, Trump publicly tweeted @ 2:24 pm to “get Pence” |

No no no. Right-wingers would think he was assassinated. We need in jail, to serve as a example to others. We need as many people as we can, who were involved in this, in jail. Also, we need them completely broke. It doesn't hurt that much to do time and then return to golden retirement. As part of their sentencing, we need to bar them from fundraising off of election fraud or anything pertaining to politics, and to hand over any monies earned by publishing any form of material on that topic. There is precedent for this, and we need to apply it here. Jail and broke for all these losers, and you bet it won't happen again. |
