Wait wait wait a minute! I’m a rational conservative and I was led to believe that illegals were voting and that Dems were voting twice on Sundays and now you’re telling me that my party is just lying? That there aren’t as many of my fellow hateful and godfearing conservatives as I thought there were? Is it all a lie? I have to do some thinking. |
Only a party that has pushed away from democracy is okay with this; all this voter suppression is how we know the GOP is the fascist party. That and the fact that their “I’m not extremist, I’m a moderate! The Dems are too extreme!” supporters prove with their silence that fascism is the rule in the Republican Party. |
We have no VRA anymore.
OP, does that answer your question. |
I am nervous that Hispanics are comfortable with this Jim Crow stuff- seems many think they can be accepted by whites as equals. |
Apart from the fact that they think they’ll be in the White Boys club, Jim Crow 2.0 is not acceptable and it’s appalling that so many are okay with it. The rubes never think the leopard will their faces. |
Oh, FFS. It is not "voter suppression." First off, this guy makes some big assumptions in his thread. Secondly.... note this tweet: "The big issue is a new provision requiring the voter to put a driver's license # or last 4 of their SSN on both the application and on the returned ballot. That has to match the # provided when they registered. Most people don't remember which # they used when registering." And, then this one: "Voters are notified when their application or ballot is rejected, but that requires more work. "Voters are able to either come in person and cure their ballot or resubmit the ballot with the needed information," Wise said." So, 1. All voters are held to the same standard. 2. There are provisions in place for the voter to correct information. |
It is excessively difficult. Citizens shouldn't have to jump through extra hoops to be able to vote safely and efficiently. |
