Homeland - New Season

Wow, episode 2 was crazy. Is Saul really trying to have Carrie killed??? Or did I misunderstand the end?

Quinn is still the most fun part of the show. I loved how he pulled that woman's veil down slowly in the end and, bam!

I have long wondered if Saul is somehow undercover a bad guy in a long twist. Could this somehow be happening?

I think there is some room for a misunderstanding, because even if Saul is trying to kill Carrie, Quinn's obvs not the right guy to assign...yes Quinn is the most awesome. I also found it mostly unbelievable that Carrie had to stay in Beirut "to figure out" what's going on. I get that she was getting a high off being in the thick of it, so maybe it was just poorly acted, I don't know, seemed unrealistic.

It's ALL unrealistic. I love how they all have their iPhones on them in a SCIF.

How can anyone stand to watch Claire Danes in anything???

If you don't watch Homeland what drove you to comment here? Clearly those of us who watch Homeland somehow muster the fortitude to watch Claire Danes. I don't know how. We just do.

Hahaha homeland fan here and this is so true

14:56 here - I think my DH agrees with ALL of the above. He is SO annoyed with Carrie / Claire. And also feels that so far this season strains credulity.

Can't stand her but hold my nose when I watch.

Why do you hate Claire Danes? Serious question?

I honestly don't know why I continue to watch. Season one was awesome. I guess 2 was ok. The rest? Eh. But I can't stop.

Why can't I quit you, homeland?

OMG Sunday's episode was a nail-biter for sure!

Allison is gonna hang for what she did, eventually. Stupid Dar actually seems to believe her excuse for going to the Russian's safe house!

Quinn - sure hope he survived the sarin gas chamber. But you know the guy who helped him will be executed for sure even if Quinn doesn't survive!

I love this show. I could live without "Allison" who is just well, blah.

The problem with the show is that sometimes it is just so overtly contrived.

They kind of lost me when Brody (in season 1) was in the hotel room with Carrie and he made as if he wanted to actually kill her, but they ended up hugging or something.

Since then I have watched it, but in a less committed way.

I am just breathless and shattered by last night's Homeland--glad I didn't have to travel by plane, train or automobile this AM. No spoilers, but...omfg, it's too real..

See I'm thinking carrie's about to run into Allison in the subway. I can't believe she won't redeem herself by going there to stop the attack. Of course she dies and Carrie saves the day. And poor poor Quinn, will probably be ready to rumble in 2 weeks, say.
