Loving and kind goes a long way -
Does he have any potential? Aspiration? My BF was quite broke when I met him but since [i married him] he's gone through years more university and now we're going very well - both happy where we're at. It was in the sciences so no student loans = very important (to me). But previously I had a BF who seemed bright but had skads of student loans and that was a huge turn off. Good luck - |
| Life has a funny way of giving and taking. Poor today can equal rich tomorrow. And rich today can equal poor tomorrow. |
| Uhhh you don't sound very bright either. No if you have plans to be a sahm. |
| No. Cut and run. |
| Ho old is he and does he have a career? Are we talking teacher or waiter? |
| Depends what you consider 'poor.' How much does he make? |
|
Nope
You will forever be struggling then add kids to the mix and you'd want to pull your hair out. |
| Do it. Your relationship will become stronger, and have more lasting memories, if you struggle and grow together. |
He is 26 years old and makes 65K. |
Oh hell no! |
|
I did and now he's rich as hell, so you never know.
He was a public school teacher (maybe making $40k in the 90's?) and got into corporate training and found out he was very, very good at it. Worked his way up to a director position of a Fortune 500 company. |
How old are you and how much do you make? |
That's not poor, FFS. |
What? That's good money at that age. |
