Tiffany going for the Dynasty look.

Several of the males look like honest-to-god serial killers. Dead eyes all around.

They all have dead eyes. Hate Melania’s dress - middle age spread years + mega kidneys do not suit Madame Grès pleats - but I love the highlighter color, or would in a different context. It’s super clashy with everyone and everything around her, including the moldy orange.

Lara’s dress would be a beautiful dress for a naive 15 year old - her eyes are the deadest of all.

You are KILLING ME with the accuracy! Too true. I’m mystified as to why she chose this, even though I do envy anyone with the coloring for neon brights.

I know we don't want to talk about the under 18 kids (or even under 21) but Barron is tall. Is he done growing yet?

He’s only 14. There could easily be more growth spurts in his future.

You can't see their feet. Could he be standing on something? He's so much taller than his parents.

He's not standing on anything, he is very, very tall.

This is a little O/T, but looking at the picture of him, it's kind of hard to find clothes when you are that tall, but it's really hard to find shoes that big. My husband wears a 14 and most shoe stores don't stock stuff over a 13, and lots of manufacturers don't make shoes over a 13. He can only buy certain brands and go to certain stores, like Nordstroms, or wear sneakers. When we go bowling or ice skating and stuff its hit or miss if they will have something he can rent--sometimes they only have one pair his size and someone else may have already rented it. If you are over a size 16--and it looks like Barron might be already--it is very tough, esp. when you are a teenager. Barron has a lot of money and privilege but in a lot of other ways he has his own challenges.

I feel like finding appropriately sized shoes is the least of his challenges, given his wealth and who his parents are. I hope he turns out ok. He's got a rough road.

He also looks like he could end up in a trench coat mafia.

Lara’s coat is a bit slouchy. Her body language is interesting. She is hunching a bit. Looking defeated.

Eric looks okay in his suit. It’s odd he has no tie. Look at his mouth, though. He seems to be holding back tears.

His hair! Have we ever seen his hair so disheveled, by which I mean relatively normal for another person? Their body language! They feel this loss. Why are they doing this??

Lara looks like she's given up. Eric is looking more like his big brother every day.

I looooove these boots. Overall nice outfit too, I think, except for the pants which seem like too much of the same stuff. But she looks great...

Thank you, OP.

It’s been fun. This thread was a bright ray of light in a dreary and terrible time.

Do we need to get to 500 posts to make them go away? Is that the magic count that will make it happen?

That's literally what my mother looked like in the 80s.

Generally, when threads on this message board and many others hit 500 posts, mods close them and a new ones starts. Massive threads show things down.

Except, I assume, sans the melting face?

I would like that outfit if the skirt were plaid pants. That skirt just looks dowdy, especially with the coat. I do think it's notable that Lara is not coming out in one of her inappropriate clubbing outfits -- I guess that seemed too celebratory. This is her "serious" look.

I actually think this is as good as Eric has ever looked. The scrubby beard trend is a godsend for someone like him with a major chin/neck problem, and the suit seems to fit him okay.

Agree. The coat is OK. I would like a longer camel coat similar to this but lighter/brighter, if anyone has a link for a reasonable one (probably a separate thread).

I am actually not bothered by melania's or lara's dresses in the pic above but do not like tiffany's or kimberly's.

I actually don’t hate Lara’s outfit. That’s also very much what my mother wore in the early 80s, down to the pleated plaid skirt. A bit dowdy, but I don’t mind it. I even like the weird clash between the taupe skirt and the camel jacket.

Look at me getting all soft and magnanimous this morning!
