It is! Unless you are equating all Palestinians, and any critic of Israel's policy towards them, as Hamas. In that case your likely criticism of him is that he hasn't killed enough Palestinians.

Anyone who does not unconditionally support Israel and recognize its vital position protecting all of Jewish society, you are deeply antisemitic. Period.

You can disagree with Netanyahu, but you cannot ignore the fact that he is a hero for his brave response to the neo-holocaust being presented against Jews globally, and a great man for his restraint in not immediately utilizing nuclear weaponry to level the entirety of Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, the United Nations, and the remainder of the axis of evil globally, but rather committing to a strategic, grinding war that protects the very, very few innocent civilians of these horrific nations and organizations.

So I really want to get this Bill Ackman situation straight?

https://www.timesofisrael.com/billionaire-investor-ackman-seeks-delisting-from-amsterdam-exchange-after-attack/

A unruly mob of teenagers/young adults at a soccer game start screaming chants and cheers at the opposing team that inevitably crosses a line and leads to some fighting. Please not that this behavior is common place in European soccer matches. You can find plenty of videos of European Countries / local teams having pub fights / brawls. Now, Ackman thinks it's appropriate to financially punish the Netherlands by removing certain stocks from stock exchange. You really can't make this stuff up. This guy is, through his actions, reinforcing the Jewish stereotypes - leading to a level of confirmation bias that will continue to agitate those who have their eyes open.

Meanwhile, protests / criticisms of Israel are being banned in Germany and most states have laws on the books prohibiting the state from doing business with entities that will to boycott or divest from a foreign state?

When we will open our eyes and oppose these repressive laws that are coming out?

Anyone who opposes the right of people to discuss topics and stand up against the oppression of their fellow man (yes - talking about the dead in Gaza / Palestine) opposes the most important of American values and is deeply anti-American. Wars have been fought and people have died to protect this right. Don't like that Americans won't be willing to do it again.

They're not merely protesting war. They're supporting terrorists.

Sure, Jan. Meanwhile, back here in reality …

Eventually, there will be no escaping the fact that the unconditional supporters of Israel were the actual supporters of terrorists all along.

Nassau County went R for the first time since 1988. Palm Beach County almost did so as well, with the best result for the GOP since 1988. These counties have some of the largest Jewish populations.

American Jews are moving away from Democrats. October 7 led many to question their voting loyalties.

Jews are finally realizing that they are on the "wrong" side of critical theory...that wokes will always see Israel as the bad guy.

i think this is true. Jews are typically relatively liberal on social issues and so have historically often aligned with the Democratic party, but it's likely most have a red line when it comes to advocacy on behalf of terrorism, especially terrorism focused on the complete destruction of Israel and the elimination of the Jewish religion. Demcratic sympathy for collateral casualties sustained in a defensive war started by Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houthis is fine, but when policy positions amount to giving those groups the opportunity to continue to pose an existential threat to Judaism and to Israel, Jews will side with those opposing efforts to obliterate them. Peace through strength is seen as more of a Republican ideal than the Democratic ideal of peace at any cost through accomodation of terrorist incubators and support systems.

How can anyone think that the war in Gaza is somehow going to eliminate the threat of Hamas?
Are you suggesting that Jews are ignorant about the root cause that allows those organizations to thrive?

I firmly believe Israel would have had peace long ago if it was able to manage its own right wing fundamentalists.

Guess who killed Rabin in 1995?

A very un-nuanced view. One can oppose the genocide in Gaza AND the actions of Hamas on 10/7. The genocide is ongoing; 10/7 lasted a day. Which should one protest more urgently?

Secondly, what is the Gaza genocide but state terrorism? What was the Nakba but terrorism? What is the behavior of violent settlers in the West Bank, who attack and harass Palestinians, but terrorism. The West Bank settlers are trying to achieve political ends (steal Palestinian land and claim it for Israel, which is all Israel has ever done). That is the definition of terrorism.

They did not move to the R side because they care about Palestinian casualties.

You use terms like “defensive war” and “existential threat” without the slightest hint of irony …

Man, those dogs don’t hunt any more.
