| Just curious. Seems like so many kids are potentially in the Wilson pipeline that the freshman classes starting in 2020 will be 600+ kids, which seems like not just a bad idea but also a physical impossibility. So what's your plan? |
| Unless things get better there, probably not. |
| No. |
What changes do you need to see before you are comfortable? |
| No. We will probably even do private for middle school. |
| It's hard to tell. I have nothing against Wilson on principle and if it would appear to be a good fit for my kids (they're only 7 and 4 now so who knows) I'd be fine with them attending, but the large, urban high school is not for everyone so I could also see us doing private that's a better fit for either of my kids. |
| Yes. I know plenty of families that are sending kids to Hardy and they are doing very well there. |
| Yes, and just about everyone I know is planning on Wilson. |
|
Are people worried about overcrowding? Or, like Janney, is everyone waiting for it to get bad enough that people move or scrimp for private school?
|
| Yes. My kids are in PK and 1 at Janney. |
| Currently, yes but we might move out of DC before then. Will be public wherever we end up. |
| Yes--and everyone I know at Janney is too. |
| No worry about overcrowding? |
| Probably not, honestly. |
Depends on what the overcrowding would look like. |
