On DCPS' website. Just happened to look at my child's school and noticed that they are finally posted.

It is astonishing to me how big JL and Mu have grown in the past ~4 years.

Isn't Wilson going to be overcrowded?

Already is over its planned capacity. So if all in the elementary and middle school feeders go on to there, it will be quite crowded.

It's a numbers game. I wouldn't read too much into trends. Not impossible that DCPS or charters have become more effective collecting that data. Or there may be different federal guidelines in how these numbers are computed and reported. For example, one notorious difficulty is that beyond a certain threshold a school is eligible for all free lunch. I think that typically gets marked as 99% even though the actual % is way below that.

It would still mean the FARMS rate is up if more schools are reaching that threshold.

I don't think anyone is stating that the FARMS rate has increased. I believe that "up" in the title of the thread means that the FARMS rates are now posted for the 13-14 school year, and previously they were not.

Its interesting to me that the diversity is not budging at all on the EoTP schools, some of them even lost a few percentage of white kids. Like from 3% to 1%.

If you are white or asian, so what if there is an uptick in FARMs students? The number of FARMs students does statistically impact the performance of White and Asian students. Now if you are AA or Hispanic, and either FARMs are non-FARMs, then yes I would be concerned if your local school has high FARMs, because there is evidence it may negatively impact your child. You may need to invest in supplementation if you see your child's scores dipping.
