So, op is mid 50s now.
For the rest of you single people, bars are fine. Some of us have time to get out few times a month.
I meet people through friends. One has a bar and invites me to join any big party he has there on weekends. I have met a lot of new people. Unfortunately, the ones I'm interested in, are married.

This just is not true. I am a single mom, 40s, two kids. I am far too busy to be popping out of the woodwork. Most single moms are online.

I usually date younger men without kids (I look younger than my age...everyone says this...I am not just saying it).
