Tell me your adult child’s success story if

My kid had an IEP throughout school for auditory processing/ dyslexia/ autoimmune issue.
Never took an SAT, ACT.
Decided to go part time to a community college part time and worked. Took about 4 years, she got herself tutors for most classes that are actually provided by the school. She developed confidence and skills. Finished her degree online, all in all the whole thing took almost 6 years.

Has been working in the IT industry, making about 175k now, for 14 years. No one ever asks about GPA, college, anything socially or professionally.

i dunno, i went to a lower school (think GMU, JMU, ODU) and i am an tech exec making 850k/year many of my reports went to ivies and make half that. so maybe that's sucess?

You can read a whole book about working for Mark Zuck and how they mostly hired Jewish people who attended Harvard into senior roles. But they got Trump elected and Muslims killed in Myanmar.

College is what you make of it. I’d move somewhere with kinder people.
