This needs to be confirmed but I've heard through the grapevine that he's recently separated from his wife, June Trone. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason is her growing tired of his fixation on holding some kind of federal office.

I don't live in that district, but why should a rich caucasian boomer have to "just live quietly"? Are only minorities, young people, lower income people allowed to run for office?

Sure, he's rich, but voting against him on that basis is silly. We have so many rich people destroying this country right now, and he's certainly not doing that. It's absurd for April to spend $8 million of personal money that was gained in part from banking business that serves MAGA. It really does make you wonder who's interests she's serving.
