As a dc resident, I will forever be proud and grateful to you Maryland residents who gave him the boot when he attempted to buy a senate seat by blowing $62.9M, yes! $62.9M into the Democratic primary for senate. What a vulgar, overbearing and offensive display of entitlement.

This needs to be confirmed but I've heard through the grapevine that he's recently separated from his wife, June Trone. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason is her growing tired of his fixation on holding some kind of federal office.

He's not a liberal through and through. If he were in florida, he'd be running as a hardcore Republican . Basically, he's into himself more than anything else.

While we're on the subject of marriage, his opponent likely never would have gotten into elective office with no prior experience if her last name wasn't Delaney.

This district spans from Germantown through to the entire pandhandle of MD. So she could be spending her money in different markets instead of the expensive DC market. Just a guess though.
